Camp ARF is a wonderful summer experience for children of all ages who love animals and are interested in having fun, fun, fun, while learning more about their furry four-legged friends. Camp ARF Grades 1-3 "A"
Children learn basic responsibilities of pet guardianship. Through fostering plush animals for a week, campers explore veterinary care, behavior, training and safety before adopting their foster animal. Children also participate in animal themed games, crafts and activities. A favorite is Friday's pet-less pet show where campers put their knowledge of positive reinforcement to use while "training" each other on ARF’s dog agility course. Always a popular event for children and adults alike, parents are welcome to attend and cheer on their children as they race through the obstacle course. This pet show makes for wonderful photo opportunities for family albums and holiday cards!
