 The Added Touch Program (ATP) is a customized program for visitors from assisted living facilities or adult day programs. ARF staff work with each participating facility to provide a program suitable for participants.
Participants enjoy animal assisted activities and learn about animal body language. Not only do the human clients benefit, but they continue to keep ARF's shelter guests well socialized as the dogs and cats wait to find loving homes of their own.
The Added Touch Program is by appointment only and can be scheduled Monday through Wednesday between 11 a.m. and 3 p.m.

Participants must be mobile and able to sit in a chair, stool or on the ground; must be able to interact with cats or dogs without allergic reactions; and must wear safe clothing including closed-toe shoes and long pants.
