Estate Planning Tax Laws: Do You Know How it will Affect You?

Presenter Sarah S. Nix, attorney-at-law from Gagen McCoy, will discuss a part of the law that was passed that saved us from the fiscal cliff and the estate implications on Tuesday, April 30 at 6 p.m. at ARF. This seminar is free and open to the public.
Ms. Nix explains important parts of an estate planning and the different options with trust drafting in view of the new law. Estate planning is just as important as ever but now people have more options because they donâ€™t have to be so scared of the dreaded estate tax.
Ms. Nix is a shareholder at Gagen McCoy in Danville whose practice concentrates on Wills and Trusts, Estate Tax Planning, Trust Administration and Probate. She has been with Gagen McCoy for eight years. She earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication and English from the University of California, Davis and received her Juris Doctor from the University of California, Hastings College of the Law. While at Hastings, Ms. Nix was awarded the Witkin Award for Academic Excellence for Academic Achievement in Estate Planning and the CALI Excellence for the Future Award for Excellent Achievement in the Study of Estate Planning.
