 Meet Your Match® (MYM) Canine-ality™ and Puppy-ality™ helps adopters find the perfect canine for their home and lifestyle. MYM helps match a dog’s behaviors and interests with an adopter’s preferences to assist in ensuring a successful transition into their new forever home.
 Canine-ality™ begins with an initial MYM SAFER™ (Safety Assessment for Evaluating Rehoming) behavior screening to make sure each pooch is a good candidate for adoption. Dogs are then tested on their friendliness, playfulness, energy level, motivation and drive, and placed into one of nine color-coded Canine-alities™. A “Life of the Party” canine thinks everything is fun, interesting and meant for play, and will keep guardians on their toes; a “Wallflower” is looking for a guardian with a relaxed lifestyle; and should an adopter be searching for a secure, low maintenance relationship they should consider a “Constant Companion”.
ARF also knows how hard it is choosing a puppy that will be compatible with an adopter’s lifestyle and it’s very difficult to predict how puppies less than six months old will behave with their new families. Puppy-ality™ was developed to help set adopters up for success from the moment their new puppy arrives home. A “King of the Mountain” puppy is self-educated with a splash of ambition; while a “Class Clown” seeks a good-humored soul mate guardian ready to let the good times roll; and a “Day Dreamer” is an easy-going, relaxed pup looking laid-back human for mutually low stress relationship.
