Private Adoption Program

If you have an animal you want to place . . .
If you live in Contra Costa County and have a pet you are no longer able to care for, ARF may be able to help. Call ARF's volunteer resource center at (925) 256-1ARF and ask about our Private Adoption Program. If your pet is altered and current on his/her vaccinations you may be invited to bring your cat or dog to an ARF outreach event and interview prospective adopters yourself. In addition, our resource center volunteers, available by phone, can give you a list of other shelters in the Bay Area.
