Added Touch Program
The Added Touch Program (ATP) is a customized program for visitors from assisted living facilities. ARF staff will work with each participating facility to provide a four week program suitable for the participants.
The participant will enjoy animal assisted activities and they will learn about animal body language. Not only will the human clients benefit, but they will continue to keep our shelter guests well socialized as they wait for us to find them loving homes of their own.
The Added Touch Program is by appointment only and can be scheduled Monday through Wednesday between 11:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m.

Participants must be mobile and able to sit in a chair, stool or on the ground; must be able to interact with cats or dogs without allergic reactions; and must wear safe clothing including closed-toe shoes and long pants.
