Thanks to ARF’s sensational sponsors and supporters, St. Louis Stars to the Rescue was a fabulous success! This exciting ARF fundraiser was held at 6:30 p.m. on Sunday, January 20, 2008 at The Family Arena in St. Charles, Missouri. Long-time ARF friend, Bruce Hornsby; Darius Rucker of Hootie & the Blowfish; blues’ star, Ricky Skaggs; jazz bassist, Christian McBride; comedian, Kathleen Madigan; country’s Luke Bryan and up and coming signing sensation, Rissi Palmer, all helped make Stars to the Rescue a wonderful evening for everyone. Along with raising much needed funds for ARF, Stars to the Rescue also benefited the following St. Louis animal welfare charities.
